Manager Ryan Giggs criticised Wales’ performance because they beat Azerbaijan, but was relieved to assert an”important” 2-1 win.

“We’re overly fussy to reach the goal, in too much of a rush to perform those forward passes.
“Azerbaijan are great at what they do, it’s the same result they’d in Croatia. They might have scored three or two in Croatia enjoying with exactly the same manner.
“It is not straightforward. I’ve been in games. You’re never sure whether to stick or twist, to play that risk ball or not but you need to have that confidence. There were players in great form from the first halfof the
